Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups fresh lime juice (about 6 to 8 large limes)*
- 5 cups cold water
- Garnish: fresh lime slices
How to Make It
Step 1Stir together sugar and 2 cups water in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil, and cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until sugar mixture reaches syrup consistency. Remove from heat; cool.
Step 2Stir in juice and 5 cups cold water. Serve over ice. Garnish, if desired.
Step 3*1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice (about 6 to 8 lemons) may be substituted. Garnish with lemon slices, if desired.

1 each – tomato, cut into 1/4 cubes
2 tablespoon white onion, finely diced
1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
1each Jalepeño chili, without stem, finely chopped
2 each ripe mangos, cut into 1/2 cubes
2 tablespoons fish sauceInstructions
Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix being careful not to beat or mash the mango. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.This is great side dish to go with grilled meat.
